My New Vette
Sold my Mustang (2K, Novi 1000, etc. etc 11.9@114) about a year ago and got a family car; Lincoln LS. Could not stand it any longer. On the way home from work I saw this sitting at Casey and thought It might look good in my garage. No real mods yet (just borla cat back and a mean green filter). However, I have been known to be addicted to Forced Induction. Ya just never know.......

You can pick up C5s for a decent price now. Although I have never just up and bought a car, I usually shop for the best price for awhile.

Trust me, I shopped the best price for months before I happened on this car. When I looked at it I found the service records in the glove box with the original owners home phone. Sat in the car and called him BEFORE I even talked to the salesman. He told me exactly what they gave him for it! New sticker was there also: New price was just under 50K (49K plus change) The blue book was just a little over 40K and I paid several thousand less than that; plus Casey did a "check back" to me for the first 2 payments. This was not added on. When all was said and done they made 1500.00 on this car. Car had about 10K on it and was the previous owners wifes car.
