I dont personally have a TIG, but I am very crafty with my MIG and can do most anything that someone with a TIG would do.... anyone who has seen my welding im sure can vouch for that.

I need to get an electronic cut out welded on. The problem is that it is aluminum so it needs to be welded on with a TIG.

That can be welded on with a MIG also but with a spool gun. unfortunately I dont have one, in my business not a lot of aluminum to be welded.

Worth a shot, sorry I cant help.

I would recommend that you contact a company called professional welding service, they are in Norfolk. The should be in the phone book and are very good people to deal with.

Thanks. I realized that this might be rather expensive to get done so I just ordered a pre made pipe that will bolt up with the cut out. Something I should have done in the beggining.

I was told yesterday that there's a business behind JB's gallery of girls, on Oceana that tig welds and does a nice job. My neighbor had his headers welded there. I believe it's next to the sandblasting place there.
Can't beat that. Get a lap dance while your stuff is being finished...
I'll see if I can find a name.
