Default JB Weld?

Anyone ever use this stuff? I'm thinking about using it for the 1st time. I had a nut that was welded to the car and I broke the weld. I was thinking of just Jb welding the nut back in place and go from there. Will this work?

If it's going on your seat or anything like that, No. Get it re-welded, i've only known JB weld to be good for slight minor repairs.

i used jb weld to patch a leak on a radiator and it worked fine. but if you are tightening sometihng important id just find someone with a welder and give them 10 bucks to fix it for you as to payin 5 bucks for that and it not work

I'd never go anywhere near a car with JB Weld. Whatever you're doing, there's a better solution than JB. It's garbage. It's weak, and it's shear and peel strength sucks (it doesn't stick very well). If it's a captive nut, JB Weld isn't going to bond it back on if it needed to be welded in the first place. I don't think I have to explain that JB is not as strong as a weld, and if you broke a weld, JB is not going to come anywhere close to being an adequate repair.

I've used it to patch boost leaks. It would have held if I had the patience to wait for it to cure, I think. The shit that was leftover was strog as hell.

It all depends on the application, IMO.
