I need help on converting the automatic transmission in my 94 civic dx to a manual transmission. I've pulled everthing off of my 93 civic SI. Where i am going to probly get stuck at is on the clutch pedal their is two connectors that hook into the wirering harness. what do i need to do their and also on the automatic i belive their is also some sort of connector where the lever is. for when it is in park how do i bypass these two things. MAYBE SOMEONE HAS STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTION. also on the manual trasmission their is some sort of sensor that comes out of the tranny that hooks into the harness (not the speed sensor) it sits in front of the starter closser to the radiator its got rubber boot over it and two wires what is this for cause i dont see it on the automaitic transmission where it connects into the harness Thanks

well you have to change pedal assembly,cluster,ecu(i think),tranny/shift rods/shifter/ its a decent bit of work

yeah i have everything but the pedal ( forgot to pull it out ) I need help on the wiring so the car will know it is in nutral or the clutch is pushed in

i am sure there is a step by step on here somewhere....but i know for a fact hondatech will have everything you need

you can bypass your nuetral safety switch. I recommend doing that.

and FUCK converting something from an auto to a manual...I mean, I'm sure its easier if they made the car in manuals, but god damn it sucks balls.

ECU can be converted to a manual ECU by changing a few jumpers inside. Anyone who chips ECUs will know how to change the jumpers for you, and chipping isn't necessary.

doing the same thing in a del sol auto to manual not really all that difficult if you have all the manual pieces all the holes are already there for everything for the most part. and as far as the electronics go im pretty sure you need the manual engine harness that you took out of your original 5 spd car
