H22A IACV problem
Well I cleared all the codes from my car, fixed their issues, w/e. All rock solid, vtec works great, yada yada.
I already had a surging idle that came and went but I threw no code for it. Then I started throwing the code for IACV intermittently, didn't affect anything, just came and went and had a surging idle here and there.
Now this morning my car throws IACV code at startup, idles solid no matter what, but under load it is giving fuel in an on/off fashion until I increase throttle in which it clears up and jumps in rpms.
I can drive but I gotta get on it and stay on the gas. If I left off and back on, the motor kinda jumps, but runs fine if I'm giving gas.
Now I've completely cleaned the IACV and FITV, even replaced the IACV with a newer one just as clean and I get the same things.
Checked for vacuum leaks and any other plugs not hooked up, all solid. I've tried jumping the plug on the harness and still no dice.
I tried tapping my ECU slightly and it deff gave the motor a miss when I hit it, in no way did I hit it hard lol just a friendly slap like what up hoe
Maybe bad ECU then?
I'm fucking clueless as to what the fuck happened while I was asleep to make this problem arise. I reset the ecu over and over hoping I will start it and it'll be straight but to no avail...
Help ploxkthx

Re: H22A IACV problem
I had an IACV problem and i cleaned it. It works better alot better now, but i think i still need to replace it.
But i did have the same issue where i had to keep giving it gas to stay alive. I dont think your 2nd IACV is bad thats just terrible luck if it is.
