US Drift & NASA autoX @ VIR-Patriot Sat May 6
It's time for another combo drift/grip event like we had at VIR in February!
This will be Saturday May 6th on VIR's 1.1 mile Patriot Course (a permanent road circuit with elevation and camber changes.)
Drift registration is open now and will be cancelled if more people don't sign up soon. Half-day session is $90, all-day is $170. Click here:

Grip registration will open this weekend at http://www.get-fast.net if the event isn't cancelled due to lack of drift signups. Grip entry will cost $90, will offer 6-8 timed laps against the clock, and is limited to 30 cars. This is a higher-speed solo event so novices are not allowed and convertibles must have rollbars.
All drivers at this event must be NASA members and all cars must pass a technical inspection.
This is the cheapest way to get onto a real racetrack and neither program will return to VIR again until 2007.
Stay tuned for details...
Thanks,
Jon

It is absolutely not going to be cancelled after all, as per a phonecall with Brian the national director for US Drift a couple of hours ago.
Drift pre-reg is at the link way above (or find it @ myautoevents.com.)
Grip pre-reg opens Saturday at http://www.get-fast.net
It's gonna be a blast,
