Bad Experience with Hanover Towing
To keep things short, my mother hit a large piece of steel on the way to work, and it completely destroyed her front passenger tire. I showed up to where she was to assist her with calling her insurance company to get the car towed (in case there was any undercarriage damage). Her insurance company (Geico) called Hanover Towing and Recovery. From the time Geico called them, it took them approx. 3 hours to respond to us. Then when the tow trucker driver showed up, he wasn't very cordial, and seemed to be in a rush. Then as he pulled the car on the bed everything seemed fine so I walked back to my car to get my phone. When I walked back to the truck, as he continued to pull the car, he had her front passenger wheel scraping up against the trucks railing. As I flagged him down to stop and straighten the car up, it was too late.
Heres a few pictures of the damage after I washed the car. The car is a 2002 Acura RL

Talk to the insurance agency and let them know as well, they can drop them as a listed resource and can follow-up on the claim by sending them a bill directly. Since you are filing an inital claim under insurance, any work performed (towing, bodywork, etc) is to be covered by the same incident report.

Damn. I would definately have your insurance company push to have them fix it.
That is almost as bad as some tow companies use chains to secure the car, but wrap the chains on the aluminum wheels.
