Get a lawyer.

At that point, if the judge is in a good mood, you might get improper driving/driving school out of it.

You'll be fine. If it's your first and only ticket, more than likely it will be dropped to improper and you will get a fine + driving school. no sweat. Just plead guilty

You don't really need a lawyer, just go into court and plead no contest or guilty. Don't make BS excuses up, just say you overlooked the speed and apologize.

Just plead guilty. I'm not sure how old you are but I got my first ticket at age 20 so I was +4 on my license and plead guilty. The judge asked the cop how my record was (+4) and he reduced it from reckless 76/55 to improper driving and a $75 fine plus court fees.

Do not waste your money on a lawyer, you will be fine. Ask for driving school. Tell the judge its ur first ticket also.

DO NOT PLEAD NO CONTEST....thats the worst thing you can do. Just plead guilty. No contest basically is another term for "Please your honor, im begging you to put it in my butt."

Seriously, you should be ok, just dont be afraid to talk if you are going in front of the judge without a lawyer. Whats the worst that can happen if you say something reasonable?
