New to NOS! got some questions
i have a 50 shot wet i just installed on my integra and i was wondering some stuff about nos im new to it.. ive only had turbos.. so is it bad to leave bottle open when not using it? i dont have a purge kit.. do u have to purge before use? if not what benifets does purge do? i have a thermostat that is broke my car never gets to operating temp so should i change thermostat before i try nos? is a cold motor bad for nos is it better to be at full operating temp? and also should i go one stage colder spark plugs in my car i have irradium now which i know is bad for nos so changing before i spray.
let me know any other pointers on nos trying to get more familiar with it

Just a heads up, most people do the research on nitrous BEFORE installing it.

The only thing you need to know is that when Tran and his group of motorcycle thugs come around and shoot up your car it'll blow up...If you yell "NOS" and trot away you should get away

Do not leave the bottle open. ridium is not bad for nitrous especially at sucha small shot. One step colder is recommended but again at sucha small shot dont think you have to worry. Purging gets the air out of the line aswell as filling the line with nitrous so there is no delay on engagement. No purging is not required. Do not leave the bottle in the car when you arent(except for at the store and what not of course). If you increase the nitrous increase your fuel. If you are running a wet kit then the fuel increases as you go up anyways to a certain extent. Most companies sell you the kit and give you a chart for each size shot and they are usually rich setups which is safer. I dont recommend dry kits for someone with such little experience. Nitrous kills motors by consuming all the fuel faster then the car provides it causing a lean mixture which causes heat. As long as the balance of fuel and nitrous is good you will be fine unless you go to extremem numbers then you have to worry about cylinder pressure.
