i just swapped a d15b8 w/a 5-speed s20 manual tranny into my '91 civic dx hatch. previously i had a d15b2 w/a 4-speed sl3 manual tranny, only problem the 4-speed tranny has a manual clutch cable and the 5-speed has a hydraulic clutch line. is there any way to convert or modify the 5-speed tranny so i can use it. right now i have put the 4-speed onto the d15b8, just so i can get it running. in the near future i would like to put the 5-speed on it. any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

cutting and drilling and swapping but it can be done.

 

HASport conversion kit??? maybe that might work..the labor on that is rough because the metal is sooooooooooo thick..you'll see when yuo get under there. We can do that for you if you want. Stop by sometime. Crs
