Motor Mounts?
Okay so i've been talking with some people about the advantages of upgrading the motor mounts. The most i have heard is it reduces wheel hop. The thing is i dont really have a drag set up, more track. What other advantages are in upgrading your motor mounts, and some good brands?

Re: Motor Mounts?
Having an engine slop around on the engine mounts is one of the things that can cause wheel hop. The same engine movement can also make things feel vague if you have a track car, and make steering feel sloppy.
Without knowing what kind of car you have, there's no way to recommend engine mount brands obviously.

Re: Motor Mounts?
@a.k.a whats with the potential hostility, it was a simple question. I don't post much up here just look around a learn. I actually have a 2000 civic si, the 07 is reference to a different year.
I been driving for years, got started in go karts young and moved to my local track, for the longest time i was just the driver till i wanted to start working on em. So what would be a good brand or type of motor mounts for my car, i looked at the hasport ones they only go for 02-05 si

I just looked at Hasport's site, they very clearly list 96-00 EK with B-series. That's your car. You do have a 2000 Civic with a B16, don't you...?
