1987 Volkswagen GTI Mk2
Name: Shaggy
Location: Woodbridge
Means of contact: Pm
Price: $1000 OBO
Description: Up for sale or trade is my 87 GTI. It is currently in shell form, and as time progresses will be closer to being a running/driving vehicle and thus the price can change. I was in the process of putting in a 2L 16v engine when I discovered the guy I got it from stored the engine poorly. So it currently has a 1.8L 16v, just needs the head tightened down and parts put back together. I am willing to take parts off this car to make it cheaper for prospective buyers.
Pictures:
More pictures available upon request. The car in question is the silver one. It does have a grill, this picture was taken when I first got it about a year ago.

Re: 1987 Volkswagen GTI Mk2
It may need a few various nuts and bolts, but nothing a trip to the junkyard couldn't fix. A little back story on the car, it started blowing oil everywhere. I pulled the engine out to put in a 2L, but that engine was bad and was forced to put the original back in it. Upon doing so, I found one of the head bolts had backed out, causing oil to spread on the outside of the engine, as well as be burned. I put a new head gasket on, but can't locate my head bolt socket. As stated before, as time progresses, I'm just going to start putting it together myself and sell it as a running vehicle. If looking for a shell for your 1.8t or vr swap, or just looking for a project, this is for you.

Not looking really to part out, and the rims are now on the white wagen with good tires. Unless you have a nice set of rims with cash to trade, they aren't leaving,.. Oh yeah, bump.
