New Genesis Coupe
I know this has been talked about on here before. But I didn't see a thread for it yet. I am very excited about this. I am pretty sure I will be picking one up when they are released next year. Anybody else plan on picking one up?
The Genesis RWD coupe will go on sale in the U.S. in spring 2009, as a 2010 model. Hyundai initially will offer two engines in the Genesis coupe: a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder rated at 212 horsepower and 217 pound-feet of torque, and a normally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 rated at 306 hp and 263 lb-ft. The output ratings are slightly higher on premium fuel at 310 hp for the V6 and 223 hp for the turbo four. Both engines will come with a standard six-speed manual gearbox. Optional transmissions include a ZF six-speed automatic, with manual shift capability on the V6, and a five-speed Shiftronic automatic on the four-cylinder. Hyundai says the Genesis coupe with V6 will sprint from zero to 60 mph in less than 6.0 seconds, with a top speed of 149 mph.
Few specific details on pricing have been revealed by Hyundai, although rumors suggest the base model turbo-I4 will be released at $19,900 and the V6 model at $25,900
This is not a production Genesis, it has been modified by hyundai. But it looks damn good IMO.
Flame suit engaged.

Re: New Genesis Coupe
Dont know yet, but the full size sedan Genesis gets 18 city and 25 hwy with the same V-6. So I would imagine that a lighter smaller car would get at least 20 city and almost 30 hwy. The 4 banger, hopefully 25 city and 30+ hwy
