2006-2007 C6 verts are $34-$40k depending on options etc; most are below 30,000 miles. 2003 Vipers are $37k-$45k most are cream puffs w/ < 15,000 miles
I've always wanted a SRT-10 Viper, but they really are crappy cars from an interior standpoint. Plus I'd like to daily drive the car and doing that in a Viper would be a compromise. Parts and mods are WAY more expensive. But... in the end it has 500 horse and it's a Viper.
The Corvettes overall are nicer cars, have more amenities, mods/parts are cheaper, have warranties still (2007s have 5yr 100k powertrain), and it's a truly daily drivable car w/o compromise.
So...

Viper. I loved my dads when he still had it, plus as said before you see vettes everywhere. Vipers are a lot more rare.
There are some flaws though you notice real quick.
1) Exhaust pipes and burning passengers that are stupid.
2) The massive heat that the motor produces will cause your feet to get a little toasty sometimes.
3) This car SUCKS to drive with the top up.
4) Depending on how tall you are it can be a tight fit. The seats barely adjust.
Those are the ones off the top of my head that bothered me the most.
My dad owned one for almost 2 year. The first year he used it as a DD. Like i said before though if he had to keep the top up he usually wouldn't drive it though.
It's not bad though on gas if you can keep your foot off the floor. It's nice going 60mph in 3rd gear at like 2000-2500 rpms ( i can't remember exactly where anymore )

Yeah everything you listed is why I don't think I'd be happy in a Viper for anything more than a weekend toy to take out to dinner or to a local car meet. I'm 6'4" so I need a seat lowering kit to fit properly.

It does handle VERY well though and can take some abuse .
I've never driven a newer C6 though only a 04 c5 so not sure on their differences so i can't really compare the two.
