'wheelin' in NOVA
I know there's not really any spots out here to do some quality 4-wheelin', but I did find a few places to get muddy and a couple trails that might be worth checking out. Hit some trail last week in Manassas, but it went throught a fairly deep creek. It was just me out there so I didn't want to risk getting stuck. Anybody ever check out some local trails or just wanna go get muddy? I have a basically stock Xterra (just some tires) and a good tow rope. Let me know!

yeah I grew up in Lakeridge, and used to hit trails with my Blaster around the Woodbridge area. Most of the trails or at least the entrances are sealed up by new houses or office buildings.

Head out to the mountains and the Shenandoah Valley. I bet you could go 4wheeling on the fire roads they have out there providing you check in with the local Park Ranger and tread lightly. I know that you can go 4wheeling in George Washington National Park in Southwest VA in addition to a park up in the MD mountains just east of Cumberland.
Call ahead and see before making the drive.
