Cheap areas around here for paint jobs?
I may be getting a Mustang, but it looks like the owner before him had started wet sanding it to prepare it for a paint job. Then the fenders are after market and aren't painted. This is basically a daily driver but I'm not going for anything special here. I just don't like the fading paint all over the car from where he sanded it, and some cracked paint areas. Are there any places in central Virginia that don't charge an arm and a leg to just sand it a little, then throw a couple coats of the same color paint over it with a little gloss? It's white, so it doesn't need to look like a real good paint job. Shouldn't take a professional but a few hours.
Also, sorry for the repost. I didn't realize we had a central area forum.

Yeah thats def. not something that would just take a few hours to. All the flaking paints needs to be sanded off and the entire car looks like it needs to be sanded/primed and then blocked if you actually want the paint to look decent. It won't be cheap to get that car straight.

There were some kids down the street spray painting their car earlier.. in the street in front of their house.. and they sprayed it bright purple! LOL!
Keep in mind, I live in a relatively upper, or maybe high middle class neighborhood. It was funny to see these kids wearing their fake chains and straight bill hats spray painting a car purple in front of their house--in this neighborhood.

The bumper I don't believe is cracked paint. I could be wrong though, I've never seen it in person. But it looks smoothed out to suggest either sanding or wear. What does Maaco typically charge?

Just ran it through with the owner, it's sanded, as is the rest of the car. I seen a few close up shots of the paint where there are a couple dents and the paint is cracked, other than that I won't be seeing much of that.
