Default bike insurance

What company should I go with?
I'm 27 on a 96cbr600 just got my permit not too good of a driving record and never had insurance in my name.
What do you think it would cost me?

Too many variables to consider. Best bet is to call around.

This has been asked a million times on this forum. State Farm and Progressive seem to be the lowest (as suggested from other threads).

Call an insurance agency, have them find the best rate for you. A small agency there in VA beach is Sanibel & Lancaster. Casey Cycle City gave me their card. Their number is (757) 340-4772. Just let them know you're looking to get some quotes for motorcycle insurance. Hope that helps.

Bad driving history + sportbike =

Good luck, I've heard of some killer deals so I know they're out there, just take the time to look.

**insurance agent here*** --your record, state farm won't insure you (if its somewhat bad), dairyland--mainly a harley insurance co for bikes, if your looking for liability only, thats fine, same thing for local ins co mentioned above, most places don't insure bikes "normally" if you get full covg, chances are you might not get paid what you think you should...Progressive--good, geico--good.... progressive goes by your driving record and credit report, geico by your record and riding experience, just mention you've been riding for 1+yrs experience and you'll be fine...(shameless plug for geico !)
