Default Rear Disc Question

I have a Si parts car at my house that I have been taking parts off of and placing on my Cx hatch. I have already taken the rear discs off of the Si hathc and placed it on my Cx hatch. So my question is:
  • Is the Si master Cylinder, and prop valve better then my stock Cx ones?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

JT

Use the master cyl and other parts that match the brakes you have, that way there won't be any problem with having the proper pressure or volume to the brake calipers.

if you had drum discs on the car, it may be a good idea to transfer the proportioning valve too. as the drum setups take longer to engauge, the valves are designed to delay the fronts some so the rears have time to actuate. your master, and other components should be fine to carry over.

-- cross referance part #'s, i wouldn't be surprised if the master, and MAYBE the prop. valve are the same, but you never know...

Thats actually a good Idea, I just looked it up and the master cylinders are the same but the power brake booster, and the prop valve are not.

So thank you guys for the quick and simple responses.
