ok, keep it on topic PLEASE. this is the thread for the autox w/ the corvette club at pungo. being open to everyone is a good thing. i'm bringing a new goodie on the rear of the car too to see what it can do.

What time does it start?

 

if you new get there between 8-9am. pungo airfield. go to www.odr-scca.org and look for the directions to Pungo Pizza on the main page. the airfield is right beside the pizza parlor

 

ahh man im not going to be able to make it to this. im going to be out there around 2:30 3 or so to watch a lil. im def going next week to little creek though

where are the pictures too?

 

turn out was low, maybe 20-25 cars. no pics from me. wasn't really worth it (pics). i did get a lot of free runs in, 10 total runs. it was a horsepower course. i swear i lose like a second on everyone at the start w/ my tourtoise. i think my best competition run was 36.8 or something?? i dunno.

 

what was the ftd?

 

FTD was in the 31's which was set by that little blue VW car.

My best was a 35.8, most of the Vette's where in the low 40's.

i finished an amazing fifth in PAX, even though i didn't have the 3 to 400+ hp the vette's did, lol. i still got by brett in the spec v who finished third in PAX. everyone who raced should have got the email of the results, anyone else who wants them, pm me w/ your email.
