yes u might need some custom welding to make the brackets match up but u can make anything work if ur willing to spend time or money.
FYI i have a pair of SI seat from an '03 civic , THe EP3 hatchback SI seats in my EK coupe .
had to get one bracket on each side re fabricated but was well worth it in the end

I dont have my car its in the shop right now, but yes, they do sit a bit high.
its not bad, i just put the seat back , but they are a lot more padded than the stock ones

Yes you can do it. A guy on www.ej8squad.com did it in his EJ8. Will be no different in the EK.
