New to the Board...
Hi,
I'm moving to Newport News this summer. A couple of TSCC guys sent me here to say "Hello."
I've always wanted to try my hand at autocrossing. As long as my TDI was my only car, I didn't want to risk breaking anything such as a clutch or anything else expensive.
Now that I have another car to fall back on, I'm ready to go. Since my car is chipped, that automatically puts me in M (although I only produce 125-hp). Knowing that I can no longer compete with stockers, I went ahead and installed a suspension kit. I'm looking to get some alloys this year... maybe even another set dedicated to auto-x. It depends on how much I like the racing. I need to start with a school.
Well, I don't want to babble too much before I'm even there. I hope to meet some of you this summer, especially fellow VW owners.
Take Care,

There's a local here, Sunny Lowe, who races his TDI Golf. Eric16v has a link to the website in his sig. SUnny is a really nice guy, (he buys supplies from my shop) and he can answer anything you want to know about the TDI and racing.
