From what I have heard from a few of my buddies it is a great system. PM LUV2CORNER, he is working on a friends car with a megasuirt system. Half the price of Hondata and twice as many functions from what they have told me.

It's a little crude, and it's use at you own risk, but if you're cool with that...
This really is an instance of getting what you pay for, and I wouldn't recommend using it on a big budget engine buildup. It doesn't have the development time or resources that the OEM ECUs or higher level aftermarket (AEM, Link, etc) ECUs have. But it's great for the price. I think it's really cool, and I love the concept, I just don't trust it as much as the much higher developed products. The nice thing about Hondata (even though you're just paying for software) is that you're using Honda's great hardware (designed by Kahein Technologies, or however it's spelled) so it's really bulletproof and robust. You can't really say that about Megasquirt.

i havent heard anyhting bad about it except that you are the tuner and basically have to play with it for your setup..and i heard its really user friendly
