FS: Ruger LCP .380 auto "pocket gun" +lasergrip; Lots of pics
SOLD
name: Jesse
location: Charlottesville
contact: p.m., post, aim
price: SOLD (original cost $330 w/extra mag, plus $190 for laser)
I bought this nearly a month ago to be a backup gun, but I haven't used it aside from going to the range the last couple weekends. It has ~350 rounds through it. 250 of those were done yesterday after installation of the CT laser. It's a little out of adjustment, but you can see that it makes it a bit easier to put the rounds in the same place (see pic of target below).
This shoots .380 auto ammo, which is just about the same price as .40s&w, so cost isn't so bad. I want to sell this so i can put the money into fixing my prelude (see thread in the tech talk section). I may end up getting another one down the road, depending on how things go.
There aren't too many of these floating around just yet since they are fairly new. I've only taken it to the range three times and it was cleaned/oiled afterwards.
Comes with Ruger LCP, Ruger zipper case, original box/manual, two 6rd magazines, Crimson Trace laser 'grip,' Crimson Trace box/manual. This is a $540 value.
Buyer must be 21 y/o (with 2 forms of id showing same address) and legally able to purchase a handgun in the State of VA. A bill of sale will be signed at the time of purchase.

You can see how the laser dot is out of adjustment. I forgot to bring the hex wrench with me to the range, so i just kept aiming at the center of the target. This was from about 7 yards. The laser makes it very easy since you can focus on the target instead of trying to use the small sights. A friend shot some rounds through it as well, and was trying to use the sights instead.

Might be interested, I'm tossing around a few other .38's in my mind and a person just recommended I look into these.
Would it come with any ammunition?
Have the original receipts/records?

no safety
thanks
I have only 6 rounds remaining. I got this at a store in elkton, va that doesn't even have a credit card machine, so the only receipt i had was a cash register receipt...i'm not even sure i still have that, though.
also forgot to add it comes with a gun lock, too. this is a ruger branded lock that looks more like a master lock than the usual type of gunlock.

Any ftf's or any issues at all in the 350 rounds you've gone through? I've been reading about these and am really interested.

i had one FTE this past weekend...i was doing 250 rounds one mag after the other, so i'm not sure if that had anything to do with it or not. Otherwise, no issues whatsoever.
