I need a few parts sandblasted. They're actually pieces from some 3 piece wheels I took apart, some douchebag did a terrible powdercoat job (underneath spraypaint) on them. Nevertheless, this powdercoat is near impossible to handsand off. I'm thinking $50 should be enough, just to blast them down, thats it. Anyone interested?

Also on a sidenote, I'm looking for someone to powdercoat ceramachrome my exhaust, its gettin a little rusty. If you know anyone good at powdercoating please let me know.

 

I have a smaller blast cabinet. What size parts do you have?

 

Sandblasting powdercoating off sucks ass...

 

use stripper the sandblast it....much easier

 

i can have them shotblasted in one day. pm me if your interested.

 

They're small. Just the lips from a set of 16"wheels and the center pieces for them as well. maybe a foot or two in diameter at most.

btw, lets see your MKI.

 

Does aircraft stripper take it off?? or that doesn't work on powdercoating so well?

 

aircraft stripper works great. wont do it all, but will do most, then you blast the rest. wear gloves or be careful with it too. it can eat clothes and skin. using a wire brush on it after letting it sit helps too.
