I'm selling my 07 Mazdaspeed 3. This car is highly modified and can be a handful at times as it makes 430hp and 443tq to the front wheels. It runs great and very strongly. If you want to break some v8 owners' hearts, this is the car for you. This car has been my baby and a good luck charm for over 5 years. I am selling because I am starting a family and don't have time to enjoy it anymore. The car has been meticulously maintained since I bought it bone stock over 5 years ago, including completely new OEM Vvt components when the engine was rebuilt.
All of the work on the car has been done by me. I have been in the Mazdaspeed game for a long time and know the cars in and out. I have built numerous engines for local speeds and installed countless performance parts as well. There are only high quality or custom parts on the car. I can provide most receipts for the parts on the car. This car has over $15k in parts in it! The car has won a bunch of trophies at car shows as well.
The car itself has 130,xxx (will update) miles on it and the engine has maybe 20k. Don't expect to test drive the car unless you have cash in hand/proof of funds. I will happily take you for a ride though!

Outstanding issues: (only outstanding due to lack of time to address these issues)
- Small oil leak at turbo oil return (needs a new gasket)
- 3 gauges in center pod need to be plugged back in behind dash
- Vvt solenoid seal has small leak.
- Needs fresh inspection. (The car has been trailered to most shows and events for the past year or so, so I let the inspection lapse. Car will pass, no issue.)
- fog light wiring needs to be fixed as it got chewed up on the Dyno recently (easy fix)
- hood struts are bad
I would be willing to fix some of these issues depending on whatever is agreed upon.
About the car's performance:
This is one of the most well behaved speed3s out there. The solid motor mounts combined with the suspension setup and tires make for a very fun car to drive. It has steady but easily controllable torque steer, it won't rip the wheel out of your hand like a stock turbo fwd car. It is like driving a go-kart in the best way. The car performs exceptionally well on curvy roads, road courses and autocross. This thing is way more capable than most people's driving ability, so you will likely never stop having fun with it. The car never fails to put a smile on my face when I get in it. The exhaust is loud and very good sounding, it does not drone and is not raspy. Inside the car feels remeniscent of a racecar as the solid motor mounts transfer all of the engine noise and transmission whine into the cabin. The steering is exceptionally responsive and direct. Most importantly, the car is stupid fast
