i want to do an h22 swap in a 1987 civic si. but i cant find motor mounts.. will the mounts from an 88-91 civic/crx fit. i was told they wouldnt fit b/c its an 87 and they changed the mounts in 88.. if you know where i can find mounts for it or if the 88 mounts will work PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! thanks

yea its going to be one hell of a swap!! i think i should be pulling low 13's to high 12's on DR's. im going to call them in a couple of days. and yea i got my own shop. is that car consered obd0 or what? b/c i dont know. i bought the car for 300 at the auction and was going to put b-series in it but i drove my boys h22 coupe and i love how hard v-tech is.

An H22 in that car will scream, without question. But I highly doubt it'll happen, especially if you don't even know how to properly spell "vtec".
Good luck though.

v-tech = electronics company...they make phones, childrens electronics, computer chips.

vtec = variable valve timing and lift electronic control...honda's way of making good gas mileage with a hint of performance in the higher rpms.
Good luck though.

my bad for spelling it wrong i was tired and it was 330 in the mouring b/c i was in another country but yea it is going to be nice b/c i just talked 2 my boy and he's going to make me a set of mounts for it. maybe one day ill drive down there and show you.
