It saddens me to list my Miata for sale, since I still had so much planned for her and expected to keep her for a very long time eventually turning it into a dedicated track car once I had another daily; but priorities change. I just graduated from school and I’m going to be moving away to start a career. I ran into some trouble since my school screwed me out of Financial Aid for the last semester and I have A LOT of credit card bills to pay now, plus I need money for the move. So, my last resort is to sell my car.
I bought the car from an older gentleman in April of 2012. She was completely stock and I’ve done all the modifications listed below. I didn’t get too involved in the performance aspect as she was still my daily driver and a needed reliability for a strict school attendance policy, she’s never let me down once. I’ve been pretty regular with maintenance and I’ve done oil changes every 3000 miles. I’ve also recently replaced the timing belt, water pump, thermostat. She still has all the A/C components, and it still blows cold. Heater works also. She handles like a go-kart and is a lot of fun on tight turns. The adjustable coilovers are very tight for cornering, but not as harsh for daily driving as some other coilovers I’ve owned on other cars.
I’ve put a lot of work, time, and money into this car over the last 2 years, unfortunately I have to let her go.
The Good: Perfectly Running Daily Reliable Miata with Tasteful mods.
The Bad: Slight blemishes in the paint (as expected from a 15-year old car), One small dent in the passenger front fender (from previous owner, never fixed it)
Price Drop to $5000 Only trade I'll do is for a stock-ish reliable 240SX (S13 or S14) + cash on your end.
