Piecing Custom Turbo
I'm checking out parts for when I'm ready for a turbo upgrade. Other than what I have listed, what would I need or what adjustment do you think I need to make to the cost.
SS 61mm divided manifold (ext. wastegate) - $200
Garrett T04B, 60-trim compressor and 1.15 divided turbine - $500
Ford Powerstroke Diesel intercooler - $300
Greddy Type R wastegate (w/ all acceswories) - $200
Tial 50mm BOV (w/ all accesories) - $200
Those are definite on prices, or less. I rounded up all the prices I found and added in shipping costs already. The folowing is what I'm not sure of...
Downpipe fabrication - $200?
IC piping (just materials, DIY project, aluminum) - $200
Oil/coolant lines and fittings - $100
The turbo will be good up to 25-30psi and about 500hp. If I sell my 93 Rx7, this is the setup I'm looking at going to. A Haltech stand-alone and a fuel system upgrade will come also, but I'm not sorried about that, it's straight forward.

If you still need all the IC piping, I would just buy a brand new core. Check the store at www.overboost.com. They have all sizes.
Actually, I should not be supporting this if it involves selling the FD.

Yes, the T04B is just the housing. The B's are older (therefore, cheaper) than the E family. Rotaries seem to take very well to the B family of turbos. That's just part of the reason I'm choosing that, cost being the other.
