Antique plate use in Va? VT453?
DMV says I can get antique tags for a one time fee of 12 bucks, but I can only drive the car to shows or meets, not daily. Does anyone really enforce that rule, if I drove my antique every day and the police see it alot, will they ticket me for that?
VT453, what do you think?

I have antique plates on my 68 Camaro. I had them on my 73 Corvette for a long time. Drove it every day for almost a year with no problem. I have never heard of them enforcing that rule.

I have issued a summons for it before, but I cant say what others would do. In my opinion dont risk it, state troopers love stuff like that

I drove my 67 galaxie, with antique tags, to highschool and work everyday in Northen VA. I got pulled over twice in it, one for spinning out in rain, and another for having all 4 headlights on. Both times, they never said anything about driving daily on antique tags, and you would think that would have been an even more bigger issue being in nova. I always drove by two state troppers that lived near my highschool too.
