1987 Toyota Supra 5-Speed, Targa, TURBO! Henrico, 23228
SOLD!
* Name: Pierce Ford
* Location: Chesterfield/Richmond/Charlottesville
* Means of Contact: PM me here, or call me 804 two one eight 5117. I don't answer numbers I don't know so leave me a message.
* Description: Bought this car about a month ago (See thread: https://www.vadriven.com/forums/showthread.php?t=352759) not running. Fixed it up, fixed the boost leak, and a bunch of other shit that was wrong with it, and boosted it around Richmond every weekend since. This car is SUPER fun and pretty damn fast. It has it's issues, new but careless paint job, boogered up tail lights, someone tried to do a wire tuck or something, so some of the wiring is rigged-everything works though. The Previous owner to the previous owner painted the gauges, so they don't read right, cheap steering wheel, some other stuff. The engine was rebuilt about 1000k miles ago, I've got the receipt for that. This is a very cool car. I've been into Supra's for a long time, I've rebuilt 2 7m engines, done a handful of headgaskets, and all kinds of stuff, so I know my stuff.
I'll be sad to see this one go, but it's far from the Supra of my dreams (specifically, I need one with AC, LOL...). It's still a very fine piece of machinery and will do someone VERY well.
* Price: Updated 12/17: 2000$ OBO! Was supposed to be trading for an MX73, Now he wants cash. NEED GONE THIS WEEKEND!!

Got any engine pics? Also what all was replaced on the engine not to be rude but some people well reuse some stuff that should not be. Also if all was replaced and machined all paperwork is there?

Thanks, Do I know you? =P I don't recognize the screen name...
I'll get some. Unfortunately I know that this is true. I do not know what was reused or not, all I have is a receipt from "Cooper Motor Service" in Fredericksburg. It shows a bill for all of the bearings, the oil pump, and a gasket set. There's also a charge for labor for honing the cylinders, straightening and regrinding the crankshaft, and cleaning and reconditioning the connecting rods and the pistons.

OK I just wanna make sure it has new rings, head studs/bolts, timing belt all that good stuff. I have a MKIV for the weekends and would like to have a MK3 to go with it. But I have worked on many 7M motors in the last few years and well there very temperamental engines. But they do make decent power and 300whp is a good dd goal. Well if you have all the paperwork and you don't mind if I decide to come and look at it do a comp test? I just wanna be sure. Were all the front and rear main seals replaced as well?

I don't recall offhand about the rear main seal, but I definitely remember seeing the front seal on the repair order. You are certainly welcome to come do a compression test, give me a text and we'll work it out.
