Can anyone weld?
I talked to 2 muffler shops. One said they would charge me $100 in labor, and the other tried his best to talk me out of replacing the resonator and just to add a straight pipe in. It already sounds like a bunch of bees as it is haha ....But yeah, I want to replace the resonator on my catback with a 22" Magnaflow resonator.

Re: Can anyone weld?
I got a resonator welded in on my old civic at Economy Muffler. It's in the Hanover Air Park off Leadbetter Rd. They charged me $95. That included the resonator and labor.

Roy Hendricks on Hull Street Rd, down by Mosely. Cost me $15 to weld my exhaust where it had seperated from a little past the header. Only took a second to do but they're definitly good guys and good with exhaust.

Re: Can anyone weld?
I got a quote from them for $270 to weld in a highflow cat.
Does anyone weld on the side, or can do it at their shop in their spare time for $75 or something?
What I'm looking to do is this..
The cat I have is 13", I need the ends cut off so it's 10" and able to fit into the testpipe which only has 10" of straight piping. One end needs to be welded in and the other end needs to be welded into a flange, or the flange on the testpipe. If it makes it any easier I can take the testpipe off and give you the testpipe and cat.
