VR-4ever convinced me to go to ricefest 2004 today... I thought it might be interesting. It would have been "OK" but for the fact that you had to pay to fucking look at the cars. I have NEVER been to a show where you had to pay just to look, and damn if it wasn't $20.00. There were some cool cars, but the vast majority were disgusting cases of "gee if they make it for my car I guess I should put it on there"... stickers, neons, colored tubing, galore. Kids you need to mod to a theme... not oh it's a mod it'll get me points tight yo.

There were some beast jacked up trucks there and a few nice rides. There was teh worst vette ever there... I wanted to kick the owner in the nuts. And they even managed to ruina fucking Lamborghini Diablo VT by taking a burgundy car and doing dman Ronald McDonaly red/yellow interior with gaudy ass MOMO floor mats and stickers.

They put fucking stickers on a Lamborghini!

 

Yea I saw all that shit too. Me and my buddies drove up to Richmond, got lost getting to RIR, and we only stayed there for about 30 minutes. Not what I expected. Some of those cars were ugly as fuck.

I feel you on the waste of the 20 bucks, I actually went up to the counter and told the lady I wanted my 20 dollars back because that show wasnt worth my 20 bucks, I could see paying 2 dollars to get in that faggot show. Its ok, it would have been worth it if they let me drive on the oval track once
