I have a 96 civic dx that needs a clutch installed. I can get the clutch myself. If you can install for $200 pm me. Im very intrested in getting this done. If you know how to install coilovers on the same car let me know how much for everything.

you going to get the flywheel resurfaced also or just going to hope for the best?

 

Clutch install is a pretty big job for $200. Did you get a new flywheel or are you going to get it resurfaced? I could do it in about 8 hours but im not it town and wont be for awhile.

im sure he wont pay anymore...and im also sure some jackass with a tool kit will attempt it and leave it sitting in his driveway with the shit half apart...

8 hours for a single cam clutch install?

We did mine in just over 3 hours, without an engine hoist.

 

8 hours was a little much..with my lift and tools should be about 2-3 hours and 1 more for coilovers

 

I could probably do it in less. Took me 8 hours to do my integra by myself with the exception of pulling and putting the tranny off and on. I only used 2 jacks and tow straps. Single cam will definately be faster and the tranny will be lighter and will also have a bunch more room to work on.

 

I can do it if you're willing to drop the car off at yorktown for a day.

 

500 is a good deal considering a shop will charge you about 600 just for the clutch

ill do it for 300. what tools do you have avaible? and if none what the work area look like?
