i am on the hampton side we have a different branch on that side but i can still either set you up or give you info on what you would need.

id have to see the soil first hand but if its all sand i would recomend putting down some top soil, tillering up your yard, laying down some lime in order to balance out your ph level in your soil. you then want to seed in august water the lawn to get the seed to stay put also keep it wet so the sun doesnt dry it out and burn it. hay works well as a ground cover to hold seed down (not to heavy) and hold moisture.
