Default Project Car

Alright, just for some fun, if you guys were to pick a project car to work on, on the side for a while, being reasonable and realistic, what would you do?

I've always wanted a 240z, I love the car (seems like every car I like has horrible rust problems :\). I'd wanna use a Granny's SBC kit and drop in a 350, then put together a home made turbo setup for it, maybe built it up some

just what I have always wanted.. here is a pic of some I like..

nice choice there...

i've had a soft spot since i was about 10 years old for the 1970 Dodge Challenger my dad has sitting at my house for ever. I've been trying to talk him into dumping some money into it so we can fix that bad boy up! lol. Too bad i don't really know much about the car.

If it was just me working on the project car, i'd say the R as a weekend track car. It has all the power i need and not so much that i don't end up in a casket hopefully and the parts are pretty damn cheap for it! Actually, this is what i'm working towards right now, just gotta find a decent DD for cheap. Might have to go steal someones teal civic.

I used to have a 74 challenger with a 440 yellow with black T/A stripes. It really was a POS and all it was good for was burnin the tires off and scaring little old ladies.

I have my project cars. They are both first generation Camaros...

One is pretty much done. The second is far from done. However, it will have a supercharged LS-1 in it when it's done. I've already got the engine/transmission/wiring harness. Still have a few more parts to get, but hopefully it will be done early next year.

My project car would have to be a 510. In the bay would be a cosmo motor.

Well, a single chamber muffler is not going to quiet it down much.

The eclipse was sold. No longer have it. It is up in Canada now. The talon is back up and running but not on the road. I am planning on fixing the body in a few spots and getting it painted beore I put in on the road. Plus I am still spending money on some other toys(i.e. the 4runner) and saving up for a scout II.

There are not many 510's around here. I know of one that is orange. That is the only one I have seen around here.

Oh yeah. Next tiem if you see something you want to purchase from us. Give me a shout. I should be able to give you a better deal.
