cell phones
is there anyone with some sort of hook up who could possibly look around the $500 charge that i am requried to pay just to be approved for serivce with a cell phone company....... this is my 1st cell phone on my own... i have had one with my parents before and with companies before but i thought it would be a good idea and go ahead and get set up with either tmobile or nextel ....i just need some help people....
Try a different provider...some providers are more strict then others.
I believe T-Mobile is pretty good about not charging, I've heard Sprint is pretty good too.
I've been told the two worst for this is Cingular and Verizon.

i had been on the family share plan for about 3 years until my parents told me I had to be on my own plan (because I had ran up our minutes)
so i went through verizon..i had a credit card for less than 2 weeks and had only put gas on it and then went to the verizon store & they did the credit check..i was for sure I'd have to pay at least a $100 deposit on the phone but luckily i didn't, and it ran through at zero
