Awhile ago i followed everyones instructions to debadge my gti using fishline and goo gone. Im trying to be really careful taking it off, warming the badges with hot water and using goo gone for the excess. Im not sure if these will buff out but im getting some decent swirls. Hardest thing is removing the foam that still sticks to it. Just wandering if anyone had suggestions or could help. ASAP im outside and shit now. really would appreciate it!

 

Use a hairdryer to warm up and loosen the foam/adhesive.

 

i know how to fix it....leave them on.

 

When i did it there was foam that i had to keep wet with goo gone and use my fingernails to get it off. Then use some spray detailer to clean up.

 

just did one at dreamworks ,if you dont get it fixed this weekend stop by the shop on monday.i will get the glue off,watersand any scratches you may have put in the paint and buff it all out for 20 to 30 bucks.ask for jeff 717-0556

 

Thanks for the help, feel like a tard for askin cuz there was like 200 posts on it. I was just worried cuz it was lookin like it was gettin scratched. My old crx needed so much shine work i had like 50 wax and scratch removers. To stop it from scratching i just used my thumb. I got a blister though lol. Came off nice. I didnt debadge completely either... i put 20th anniversary gti badges on. Thanks again for the help
