TS Franklin Forms off East Coast

Good news East Coast! Tropical Storm Franklin became a named storm last evening as he pushed over the eastern edge of the Bahamas. Currently he is moving WNW (310-degrees) at a speed of about 10-knots. Over the next several days Franklin is expected to strengthen and come very close to reaching hurricane classification. The best news about Franklin at this point is his forecast track, which is expected to allow him to send us some swell without actually making landfall along the mainland. Obviously a lot depends on how Franklin behaves but expect Surfline to send a Surf Alert to select East Coast regions as he gets into a better position. i dont watch tv

 

well, my buddy always watches the buoy reports on wetsand and the swell modules so we usually now when somethings coming, the last week weve had good surf down in rodanthe and weve hit it every time,last weekend it was small but fun,wednesday and thursday were overhead and clean, it was great.....

 

yeah i used to watch the '5-day swell' from NOAA on surf esa but the link doesnt work anymore

 

tomorrow will be the day...just hope that N wind holds off :X
