nitrous on a mustang?
got a 5 liter car and friend put a zex kit on it.. worked fine the first little while and then all of a sudden it wont spray.
plenty in the bottle, and the box is clicking, but when the system is armed and at WOT, it bogs like crazy...
we checked all the lines over really well and there are no pinches anywhere. i have no idea.

Go with a supercharger if you want genuine power. Nitrous is a cop-out.

I don't run nitrous, nor do I intend to.. but if I had a motor that could handle a 150 or 200 shot of nitrous, why the hell wouldn't I? I think nitrous has an undeserved bad reputation just because of the average idiot who either doesn't install it correctly, or who can't control theirself. Period. It's horsepower in a bottle. Horsepower is horsepower, whether it comes from a supercharger, or from a bottle for that matter.
...and what about the supercharged 5.0L's with nitrous? Is that a waste to make more horsepower on top of the supercharger?
I guess it's just me, but I've always seen nitrous as a cop-out. Granted, it is "horsepower in a bottle", it is definitely less efficient than forced induction. Call me ignorant all you want. We're all entitled to an opinion.
I know I'm not the only one that feels this way. Someone back me up, seeing as being an '05er makes my opinion not matter.

I used to feel the same way.. that it was a cop out of some sort, or cheating, but when you step back and really think about it, here's how I see it: The name of the game is to go as fast as you can, right? There's always a limit on how much you can do with just a motor and forced induction.. which, with a motor like that, you can do plenty and make a ridiculous amount of power.. but lets say you put every single thing you could put into that motor and it's making 1500 horsepower, hypothetically. You want 1700 horsepower. You want to run 6's instead of 7's.. Whatever the case is, you want to go faster, and you want to make more power. Is nitrous cheating?
You're entitled to your opinion. I can respect your opinion but I stand by the fact that I think it's ignorant
