herd that the b18 head on a b20 bottom would raise compression .1 and flow better, and that the cams are a little meanier. anybody know for sure. i assumed that the 2 heads might be identicle, but you never know. of course vtec will come later... justin, thanks

 

pretty much. i forget what head it is, but there is a b20 with bseries vtec sized valves in it stock, that would be a good route to go.

 

Im pretty sure the heads are actually identical.

 

yes it is better becouse the b20 is made for a suv and the b18 head revs higher
becouse of the cams

 

but you can also keep the b20 head on it and put the b18 cams in that head and it revs alot faster
ive tried it both ways on my b20 block

 

both heads say PR4 on them...

 

That is one of the most ignorant things I have heard in a long time.

 

basiclly what my point was
is that the cams are the only diff. the b18 cams rev higher

 

my B20B head says PR8, the Pr8 has the bigger valves...lucky me

 

my head says PR8 also, bigger valves, that could explain why i waxed a gsr teg.
