Langley Speedway will be the 6th stop of the poker run and we stay there to continue the fun. There will be One on One Drags, Time Attacks, Burnout Competition, Bikini Contest, Live Band, DJ, and much more! The cost to get into Langley Speedway will be $10. To participate in the actual events it will be $30 for all three events with by back options in all events. Chris will get on here later and explain the buy back option. But basically it allows someone who loses early to come back and compete again at a lesser cost.

The Burnout Competition is sponsored by Tuner's Edge. They will be giving the winner a $100 dollar store credit. The One on One Drags will be sponsored by Millennium Autosports. They will be giving away prizes $100, $50 and $25 store credit for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Custom Car Care will be sponsoring the Time Attacks. The fastest Honda/Acura and the fastest Nissan will receive a $50 store credit each. Langley Speedway will also be rewarding the winners as they do every wednesday Night at Extreme Wednesdays.

We will also be having a bikini contest. That is free to enter and 1st place takes home $500.00. 2nd takes $250.00. We will hopefully Have a pre regestration form to be downloaded and brought to the track for any of the ladies interested. This will allow you into the pits free the day of the event.

What: TTE Poker Run IV to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sister of the Peninsula

When: 9-10-2005

Time: Registration begins at 10am at Tuner's Edge. We leave Tuner's Edge promptly at 1130am

Where: The event will visit Custom Car Care, Elite Auto Sound and
Performance, Tuner's Edge, Millennium Autosports, McFadden's and Langley Speedway

Dinner: Dinner will be at Langley Speedway as soon as we get to the track concession stands open up.

General Poker Run Information:

For those that have not attended a TTE Poker Run this is a driving event. The event will start promtly at 10am at Tuner's Edge. Registration will end at 1130am. This aspect is different. We will not be accepting late participants. You can catch up at later stoping points but will NOT be allowed to enter the poker aspect of the event. When you register half of the fee goes to charity and the other half to the POT. Whoever has the best poker hand at the end of the day wins half that pot. Registration is:

Package 1 is $10 per person. This package includes registration fee, directions to each stop of the Poker Run in order, and special coupons/flyers from each sponsor of the event.

Package 2 is $30 per person. This package includes package 1 along with the TTE Poker Run Commerative T-shirt. This package is limited to 30 as that is the quantity of shirts. So register early via paypal (kylerichardson@email.com). Please email Kyle your forum screen name and best email address for contact after you have sent the money.

HOW TO PLAY:

You will pick a card from a deck at Tuner's Edge upon registering. We will write it on a master sheet. You will then proceed to Millennium Autosports, McFadden's, Elite Auto Sound and Performance, Custom Car Care, and then to Langley Speedway,. At each location you will pick your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and final 6th card. Each card will be written on a sheet that the shops will already have. These sheets will be faxed back to us at Langley Speedway at the end of the event (so no cheating can occur). The best (5 cards) poker hand wins 1/2 THE POT OF REGISTRATION! Now additional donations on top of the $10 registration (shirt proceeds go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters) will go soley to the Big Brothers Big Sister of the Peninsula.

The event is not a Cannon Ball Run. So high speed driving is not necessary at this event. This is an event to ultimately raise money for children. This event is away for us to do such a thing and enjoy our cars/friends at the same time. In order to win 1/2 the pot you must visit all shops throughout the day.

This is an event for anybody to participate in. The more the merrier. Bare with us on the day of the event as parking might be an issue depending on how many people participat in this event.

I forgot to add that earlier. Please check in daily for new information as it comes about. This is the first time we are doing this so there might be more changes. The bikini contest will have a cash prize TBD. I will post that also. And we are looking at doing a car show but have to find the right judges first. so like i said stay tuned.

 

if i get my new shims here in the next week then no problem. it was already up and running but as the car broke in then problems started arising in the head. waiting on greaser to get me the measurments. but it should be done way before sept 10th
