my bodyshop guy just finished the engine bay paint yesterday and we went back to reinstall everything tonight.

This is exactly what i was hoping for (so far) - a nice deep dark black that has a nice wet look.











obviously its harder to tell w/ pics, but i am not doing the diamond black pearl mist w/ metallic any longer - i just wanted a deep dark jet black w/ no metallic. So thats what we got!



we are going to be using a very very high quality clear on the outter body which will be applied w/ 3 coats, then left to dry 7 days, then sanded down, then another 3 coats!

She should be very nice and deep!!

 

That engine bay is so blingin, Ludacris should be wearing it on a chain.

 

pictures will never do it justice. if you ever get mad at it, can i have it?
