About three weeks ago, I got a call from Loundon Ct. police telling me if I didn't move my crx shell from the street it would get impounded. So I got it towed to my job at bailey's crossroads. The crx is a 89 si which had a b16, tokiko 5 way, dc header, test pipe and tenzo 2.5 catback. After two weeks of sitting behind my job, I was finally able to get all my friends to agree to help me strip the car, so we could put the parts in my other shell. On saturday my friend, his brother and me went to the where my car was sitting, and it was nowhere to be found. I was hoping it had gotten towed, but knew it probably hadn't. I called the towing company, they said they didn't have shit. Called the police, they couldn't find it in the computer and said to call back once I had the vin. One thing about the crx is that the interior was completely stripped down, and the dash and all panels were removed. The car had previously been a theft recovery and a lot of the underdash wires were damaged, and thats why we went back there to try to repair it. The car was titled, but I never got tags for it, so technically it shouldn't have been sitting on the street, but I didn't have anyplace to put it.
After waiting for the asshole FFX cop they send to take the report, I was blown because the last car that I had stolen, I did not receive any money from since all I had was liability, this car didn't even have insurance. Figuring the thieves would have balls towing the car from bailey's due to the heavy police presence, I decided to drive around, figured whoever stole it, maybe didn't tow (since car doesn't run), maybe they pushed it. I drove around the neighborhoods behind bailey's, and sure enough my baby is just sitting there. At first glance it appeared to be all in one piece. But after I got closer, I realized the exhaust was gone, I popped the hood since it was open, looked inside and the b16 was there, but the throttle body was gone. I called the office that took the report and had left 5 minutes earlier, and when he came back he asked what was missing. After I told him the exhaust, he just said "be happy that you got something back, now call a towtruck and get this shit out of here, or fairfax will tow it to the impound." He got in his car and left, and while I got luck that that is the only thing that was missing, FFX police proved once again they're assholes, even when you're not at fault.
Today the whole day, we took apart the crx, and I'll post some parts in the FS, section, they had tried to take the header, but header is a one piece DC sport header, and it won't come out unless the motor is raised, or the crossmember is dropped. What made it a weird part is that halfway through taking out the motor, I look outside my friends garage, and see a spanish guy eyeing the fuck out of the things inside the garage, it made me feel uneasy, so I asked my friend if he knew that guy. He just said no, hadn't seen him before. About 5 minutes later the guy came up to the garage, and asked me in spanish if I wanted to "buy stolen gold jewelry." I was surprised, due to the events from the day before, and told him no, we don't buy stolen shit. My boy walked over and told me to ask him what else he had. He said that he had a lot of radios and subs, and indash dvd players, along with honda and acura rims, and a few spinners. I asked him for his phone number to get in touch with him, so I could report his ass, and he just said that he had just gotten out of jai, so he didn't have a phone. But he said that he drives a gray suburban, and that everything is stored in his house in manassas. Its a short skinny spanish guy, if I see him again, I'll at least try to get his tags, but he was walking around sterling trying to sell stolen shit, just figured I'd give a heads up.

the cop was copping an attitude with me the whole time, from as soon as he saw met me and asked me what happened, even when I found my car, he was acting like I was wasting his time.

 

oh ok, we just had some cops pull up on us the other night that were cool as shit, haha he even acted like he was gonna run my friend over lol

 

if anything I thought FFX cops are actually nice and cool compared to PWC cops. I guess its mixed opinions that determine that.
