cummings turbo deisel ??????

my roommate has a dodge 2500 cummings turbo and wants to know if a blow off valve will work on it and i have no clue if it well..............i know NOTHING about trucks, if anyone knows let me know thanks

Correct me if I am wrong here guys, but wont a blow-off valve work on any turbo system? And dont all turbo systems have something "like a blow-off valve"?
