How much and how hard is a B18 / B16 swap in a Eg Civic??
Well imma go take a look at this 95 EG civic with a blown sohc motor for about 600$ here shortly and im not planning on spending anymore than 4500 on my first car (Im 16 atm). Does any1 know how much a 100% stock b18 or a b16 clip would run a lil poor boy like myself? And how much time and how much would it cost me to put into a 95 EG civic?? Know ne1 who does work like this up around fredericksburg / woodbridge? Place to get a motor?? I just got done looking on ebay and didnt see shit and it seemed a lil over priced.
Whats the right price for a B18?
Whats the right price for a B16?
What am I going to need to put the motor in besides tools.. (Duh..)

i reckon the swap will cost you a few hundred more without the cost of the motor and i dont recomend you doing the swap your self if its your first time. your gonna need things like new motor mounts and ect.

you can use the stock motor mounts that come on a integra motor in a 92-95 civic.
honda-tech.com is your friend.

man, people around here are so quick to discourage people working on their own cars. i didn't know shit about cars other than how to change oil and i did my swap 100% by myself in my carport with nothing but hand tools. it's not tough, and you might as well dive right in.

accuracy is? Ya im kinda new here and dont know to many ppl.. Is it a shop? or just a man who does swaps for $ at his house??
Any1 know how much a nice B18 or GSR clip would run me??
See atm im a junior in highschool and I have my auto class for about 2 hours a day and I could get this swap done in there rather easy if he lets me.. If not I will have to see if I can do it myself in the carport or some1 else to do it. :\
