i just picked up a 92 4runner that needs new tires. i'm new to all this, so i'm looking for a size recommendation. I don't plan to go off-roading, but it would be nice to have something that's capable in the snow, decent on the highway, and looks good. the stock tires look really pussy on this thing, but i think 31" tires might be overkill. the stock wheels are 15", not sure how wide but it's looking like width isn't a huge issue when picking truck tires.

discount tire direct gives me these optional sizes:
225/75 (stock)
235/75
255/70
265/70
30/950
31/1050

i would go 31's but thats me..

if you want you can check your axle code. you truck may have the 31" tire option which menas it was geared differently.
