Since Im moving there soon I wanted to get a heads up on the best places to live and where my car stands a better chance of not being stolen or busted into.
Or even just the places to stay away from.

Possibly near Langley since Im lazy in the morning.

The "coolest" place to live for me is the north end of Va Beach inthe Chicks Beach area. I lived there over a year and loved it but couldn't afford to even buy a 3 betroom townhouse there. The ones w/ in walking distance of the beach were all $320,000 and up. I bought a single family house across town in the Oceana area and that's nice too.

if you stay closer to the pungo area, near the nc border. its pretty quiet around there, and you could probably find a dirt cheap home there.

Actually the only dirt cheap homes you'll find in pungo are dirt cheap because they're dilapitated and small. NC is where its at I must agree.

 

You probably don't want to commute from pungo to Langley. FYI. I'd suggest some place up in Hampton or Newport News, but I'm not familiar with the housing up there.

 

Well I doubt I will be able to afford to much since Im just an E-5(SSgt) but like I said Im pretty lazy and would like to stay close to base and I heard traffic is a MOFO in the mornings and afternoons.
