So I go in earlier to pick up a set of spark plugs. Even give him the part # I need. He checks the computer, "Yep, says we've got 8 of them, let me go make sure." Comes back a minute later with 8 spark plugs in his hand, "yea they were all here." I get home, start to put them in and uhh...NONE of them are what I asked for and he gave me 4 of one plug and 4 of a totally different plug. WTF! I'm headed up to advance on hull st. now if anyone wants to watch me choke the living shit out of a $7/hr parts counter worker. Lesson learned: check behind those idiots before they ring you up, even on the simple stuff.

they are even worse to females... i went ot get a damned o-ring for a distributor shaft in a chevy 3.1... yeah the guy made it a point to tell me , "you dont have a distributor". i said "yeah i have coil ignition ,but i still have a distributor shaft that needs a new o-ring". he didnt believe me so i had to go back to the car adn take the shaft up there to this moron to SHOW him.. and he miraculously said, "oh that is a distibutor shaft, here ya go." fucking moron!!!! argh.

 

i HATE advance only retarded morons work there. i live less than one 1min from an advance but i will drive 10min out of my way just to go to carquest. good people who will help you work there.

Anyways, parts jockeys are retarded anywhere you go. I get to talk to them ALL day.
