a ridiculous amount. i have 02 civic HX seats (similar to the EP3 rails) in my 89 CRX, and it sucks, and it was a nightmare. the only way to do it is to hack down the EP3 rails, level everything off somehow, and weld them to your EG rails. and even if you manage to do all that perfectly, you're gonna be sitting real high because the EP3 has a minivan-like driving position. don't do it.
np. anything to save someone from the hell i went through (still going through, actually, since i still have them in my car until my UKDM seats get here).
Gsr seats are a nice alternative. They are easy to find and sit alittle higher up. If you have a sol w/ all black interior the blk/leather gsr seats look very nice.
i don't have any direct experience with ITR seats, but my understanding is that they'll sit a bit higher, but they should work. and since they still use the traditional seat pan/bolt on rails set up that civics used from 88-2000, you'll have a much easier time swapping things over. so it's worth looking into, but i'm not gonna say with 100% certainty that it'll work. it's just that honda changed seat designs pretty drastically in 01 and ruined it for everyone.
you also might want to look into s2000 seats... won't be quite as bolt-in friendly as ITR seats, but i've seen them in an eg hatch first hand, so it's also a possibility.
