How about a rule that bars anyone from 05 making new threads?

i'll be the first to tell you from experience, del sols suck, i have loved every hatch i have had

 

That's damn stupid. A good alternative would be that you shouldn't be able to make a thread until you've been registered for 1-2 months.

Del Sol VTEC for the win!

If your not getting a Del Sol VTEC (the one that comes with a b16a3) dont get one.

 

If you're doing a swap either one. The HB is lighter so you'll get better acceleration and handling from it. I've had a hatch for over 5 years, so in my opinion I would prefer a del sol. I like the two seater, and the removable top. They can look pretty sexy with the right suspension and wheels. But as Kyle said, if its not dohc, its not worth it.... but then again, the hb isnt dohc either.

 

as you have seen i now own both i like the hatch but i love the del sol. my cx hatch weighs 2100lbs(on a scale) and the del sol weighs like 2300lbs(on the title)...i haven't put it on a scale yet.

i just like the 2 seater, the top comes off, the back window rolls down, the console wraps all the way around the driver. you can make any car fast so if thats what you are looking. i would say the del sol

If you might need room for passengers, get the hatch. If you hate giving rides, get the del sol. If you decide on a del sol, look out for: broken ashtray, broken audio cover, wrinkles on the door armrest, and a leaky/squeeky roof...
